Ok question:
I recently have been going out to the 'straight' scene clubs in Toronto...and i have found that women can look amazing, funky and wear what the hell they want. But men on the other hand wear all black, black dress shoes, black pants, and a button up ugly collar shirt. Well i was at Cache for example before i went out and the bouncer was like you are wearing runners...and i replied these are 300 dollar puma runners...anyway im like, "im on the list i know Adam" ect...and im like well r u gonna let me in or not??? Hes like sure, but next time where dress shoes...ok.
LIKE HOW DOES ONE DANCE IN DRESS SHOES ALL NITE LONG TO TRACNE OR HOUSE!!!!!!! In a gay venue youre in as long as you look funky...and funky is what guys should have..not look like every shmuck in the club...gees...anyway i needed to vent...
I dont understand the straight scene...beautiful women, ugly dressed men...lol
Anyway feel free to yell at me...or offer me reasons why this happens...by the way i was dressed up and done up...the only reason i wasnt gonna be allowed in during many accounts was because of my puma runners...or other expensive non- dress shoes...

ahh you think that's bad?
In Moscow clubs it is not only inappropriate to come underdressed, but also not allowed.. and along with 'dress code' on the flyer you have a little thing called 'face control' :D Try dealing with bouncers then |

Some people are comfortable clubbing / dancing / partying in different attire.
Although I would rather dance in trainers, I welcome people to look great when going out. So I (as usual) sit on the fence. |
