The culture war in the U.S.

I was watching Bill O'Reilly ("compassionate fascist") sometime after the Janet Jackson incident and O'Reilly was just babbling on and on about how indecent things have become. He then mentioned about the "culture war in America" and how it’s Christian morality versus secularism, and he used the Jackson incident as a pretense to invoke such an argument because some people were not effected by Jackson bearing a breast where as conservatives were slightly more sensitive to the event. It was at this point where for the first time that I can recall I agreed with O'Reilly....there is culture war in America thus explaining the schizophrenic standards and norms we hold. It is my ultimate wish that secularism will prevail in this culture war, but not dominate....hence I could care less if some Arab wore a head scarf (damn French).
Finally, my question to all of you is that do you think that there is a "real" culture war going on in the U.S. (provide examples) and which side do you think will triumph? |

Of course, the 'culture war' is simply the war between California and Texas, and Texas will obviously win because Texans aren't pacifists.
BTW the East Coast has no say in the culture war, they are just mindless drones that follow the two dominate states of the union who reign supreme.:thepirate |

| Religous people will win I think. I guess the next election will show if the Democrats win than the lefties win, if Bush wins then the religous will take over. I'm for Bush even though he doesn't like France at least he has morals unlike Chirac and Chretein. |
