Well he sed vst plugins, and gave a list of effects, the topic is u refered him to was vsti softsynths, so most of the content will deal with synths..
I just use the default fl stuff for flanger and stuff... but for mastering I use Izotope ozone 3.. www.izotope.com but for all those effects i think the waves bundle covers most of them, but for individual products I dont really know of many.
If u havent already checkout http://www.kvr-vst.com/ I think that would help. |

Distortion? Antares Tube, enough said.
Magneto is a cool tape distortion plugin by Steinberg/Spectral Design.
Compressor. I normally use the R1 compressor on single tracks and the C4 comnpressor on master tracks.
EQ. Normally just use the track eq in Cubase. Sony is supposed to have an amazing eq plugin. Not sure which platform it is though.
Filter - Waldorf D-Pole s'pose to be pretty top notch. OhmBoys Frohmage was quite a bit of fun as well. Definitely different.
Reverb - TCElectronics maybe? I personally just use the standard Steinberg one. Its simple and does the job. Same with delay, just use standard cubase one. If your looking for a multi-tap, both Sonic Foundry has one that ships with Sound Forge, and there is one in the waves bundles aswell. I'm sure there are others. |

I use waves plug-ins for effects. They are the best I've heard so far... |
