Australia’s INFUSION
Winter Music Conference 2004
“Like nothing else in dance music at the moment” -M8
On the heels of their smash hit ‘Girls Can Be Cruel’, INFUSION will be performing live in Room One at renowned UK club FABRIC on Friday, March 5th. The single - just released on Dave Seaman’s AudioTherapy label - has already won accolades by being included on MixMag’s February 2004 CD insert Pete Tong’s Top 2004 Tunes, as well as being heralded for sounding “like nothing else in dance music at the moment” (M8 Magazine).
Do not miss the opportunity to see them at Winter Music Conference 2004 this year. Every performance is 100% original. No pre-programming means no two sets are ever truly alike. The energy and charisma they put into their performance is infectious and truly captures the imagination of their audiences. They're bringing back the “rock music attitude,” [says Pete Tong] to dance music. Along with their artist album nearing completion, slated for release later this year on BMG - Infusion is on the brink of great things.

For their own artist album, don’t expect your standard dance album. Jamie says,
“We’re excited by how it’s turning out so far … We love writing songs and just being a band. It's really exciting seeing what we're capable of in the broader sense of making music and not having to think about mix ins and mix outs. We've got really nice horn and string arrangements, 12 string guitars and all kinds of different instrumentation. It's been a great experience.”
After WMC, INFUSION will be touring in Europe, shooting the video for ‘Girls Can Be Cruel’, completing their artist album and releasing their next 12” entitled ‘Better World’ on AudioTherapy. Get ready it’s going to be a wild ride in 2004!
INFUSION are Jamie Stevens, Manuel Sharrad and Frank Xavier.
THE WORD ON INFUSION

"Australia's best live act" - Sydney Herald
"Infectious, funky and full of attitude." -MixMag
"Rock music attitude" -Pete Tong, MixMag
"[Infusion] a three-piece live band who regularly rock crowds across the world. [Girls Can Be Cruel] is not to be missed. Their own SQ’ed Mix is a proper dancefloor stormer." -DJ Mag
“What has really singled the lads out is their ballistic live sets, which tend to create enough energy to keep a small town going for a week.”– Resident Advisor |
