raid margdi gras? after the crap the police had to put up with after the redfern riots there's no way they would do anything to piss off another significant minority group so soon.
but it may put them back in the good books with the middle aged voters if they made a huge raid on a massive drug fueled satan worshipping cult in homebush bay, as the headlines will surely put it, especially when they could claim that kids as young as 15 were involved.
like every time you go out, assume it's possible. but seriously, what would you do differently because of a rumoured raid that you wouldn't do anyway knowing there will be dogs at the enterance? |

we got the smackdown laid on us last week on our way to "ballarat", there were cops in suits, dogs, even that grissom guy from CSI was there... fortunately though i was wearing pants. :confused:
they definitely lookin for some kinda haul to reinforce their already unsavoury attitude towards the raver community. |

I've been told that drug dogs have great difficulty smelling the chemicals, and that the only thing they can really smell is marijuana.
Also being in an environment crammed with people, lights, loud music and other stimuli, the poor dogs apparently get very frightened and are even less effective.
I think a lot of the time it's scare tactics, beagles are the sniffing dogs, so why do police at parties walk around with labradors? |

if that happened, and u were in middle of crowd, couldnt you just munch down all your err, stuff, at once, and then just gurn whilst being raided / searched ?

You'd be surprised .. I've heard of people taking up to 10 in a raid. Sure, you'd get pretty ed up, but probably better than possession/intent conviction, a fine, and possible night in jail.
More than that and people just throw their baggies away.... |
