Okay, here we go.
Bassline is cool. I love those basslines that border on being a lead/melody. Only problem is that you are missing the lower parts of the bass which then makes the kick stand out by itself too much.
percussion is decent, although it sounds like too much hi frequencies in them. They aren't chunky enough for me, a bit more mid range in them would do it for me.
Melody and lead at 2 minutes sounds quite nice. very simple but its effective, i dig this kinda music. I'm groovin, I'm groovin, and I ain't even drinkin yet. Around the 3 minute mark, I'd love to hear some in with that lead. Get stuck into the low pass and the resonance just before it stops.
Just before 4 minutes, bass pad pretty cool, background fx more coolness. 4:30ish, need more of a build into the main part of the song. Don't really like the chord progression after that though. I would have made the last change go down rather than up and up again. Just my thoughts. Get this finished though. Shame no one else has had a listen, its not a bad little tune this. Has some potential although I think some more work needs to go into the main melody's chgord progression. |
