FUR nightclub will soon be brought to you from a group of friends and family who have worked hard and long to bring you a nightclub like no other. You are probably thinking, "yeah right, for that kind of place we go to NY or Miami." Well, we are here to change that — for good. Forget New York, forget Miami. When you experience FUR you won’t even remember those places anymore.
The creators of FUR have been imagining it for a very long time. Now the imagining has turned to reality and we are almost ready to share it with you. FUR nightclub was constructed with a lot of love, time and attention to detail. It was designed to take you away to a place where your senses are able to reach their most pleasurable state.
Let’s begin with the main level, which for starters boasts a 30 foot high ceiling that makes you feel as though you are right under the open sky. This level houses the main dance floor with the most sophisticated sound and intelligent lighting system there is. This combination will provide an experience so intense that it is sure to completely remove you from the cares of your day.
For those not interested in the pulsating music or dancing, take the opportunity to chill out in FUR’s luxurious, comfortable lounges complete with fireplace, HI definition TV’s and couches so comfortable you will feel like you have not left your living room — except we do offer one thing that your living room does not — a beautiful granite bar that is home to your favorite cocktail, beer, wine, champagne or for those non-drinkers, an assortment of non-alcoholic beverages along with an extensive cigar menu.
If all this sounds great to you, but you do not smoke — then we have the room for you — the very first nightclub in DC to offer you non-smokers your own balcony! Yes — you read correctly — FUR offers you an absolutely smoke free balcony area! You still have all the living room amenities , but without the smoke! This balcony should definitely delight the surgeon generals of this world.
If all this is still not enough to convince you to visit FUR — then this will. Ok — picture this — you and a group of friends want to dress up, go clubbing, see and be seen, but do not want to feel like you are in a club environment (uh-oh, here we go with the living room effect again — no, just kidding!) What do you do? Hint: reserve one of FUR’s plush, exclusive and private rooms, which are accessible only through our one of a kind custom walk through tunnel. These rooms are completely secluded except for the cocktail waitress who is constantly serving you drinks and they create a feeling of utter intimacy that yes — you will feel as though you have not left your living room. Except of course for the fact that you do not get dressed up to consume drinks in your living room nor do you employ a cocktail waitress in your home (well — do you’?) Yeah — we thought not.
What??? You are still not convinced! Oh. All this talk about FUR has made you work up an appetite? No problem — we have just the thing — the Bistro at FUR! It is absolutely perfect for those intense hunger cravings. Enjoy our creatively designed and completely delicious desserts or if you are looking for something more filling, then browse through our menu and the kitchen will be more than willing to serve up some tempting fare.
Ooops — we almost forgot something. For all those brave ladies out there who insist on wearing next to nothing in sub-zero weather without a jacket on (and you know who you are) we offer valet parking. Unfortunately this behavior does not gain sympathy points with the doorman so you will still freeze while waiting in FUR’s line outside — so our advice to you is to be smart, put on a jacket and use the coat check located just inside the main entrance. After all — that’s what it’s there for!
Our team of nightlife professionals is here to offer you a safe and relaxed environment, which stems from having been in the nightclub/restaurant/hospitality business for many years. With our highly trained and motivated staff we are here to provide a concept so original, yet so flexible that we are able to host anything and everything from corporate events to the wildest party you can imagine. We at FUR aim to please.
Oooh — we’re sorry — did I hear someone say New York? Miami? Yeah — we thought not!
With love and originality our close group of friends and family bring you the FUR nightclub! |
