| this coming sunday, Bolton & Boro will meet in what promises to be one of the closest to carling cup finals in a long time, but who will you tip to take the backdoor into Europe ? |

| Definately a toughie.. Middlesbrough have got a sound defence but they dont exactly score that many goals upfront and have to rely a lot on juninho and zenden. Bolton are scoring lots this season but also conceding quite a lot... When it comes to the crunch though i think that Middlesbrough are gonna nick it.. but its gonna be close.. 2-1 middlesbrough |

Boro obviously!
Tis gona be one hell of a close match cos both teams are so evenly matched but we have got a much better defence which will keep Bolton out and even though we aint been scoring many, in Juninho, Mendieta, and Zenden, we have players who can create alot of chances. |

me & ste reckon it's gonna be close & the bookies too. I hate being confident though before a game, it usually ends with Bolton losing :( |

Its well close at the bookies, Boro 6-4, Bolton 13-8.
Im outwardly confident, but u gota be when ur surrounded by glory supporters and cockneys at uni! After our last few finals im always fearing the worst tho |

Personally I think it all depends on 3 trios
Zenden - Mendieta - Juninho
or
Okocha - Nolan - Campo
You'd probably think i'd have put djorkaeff in there, but he's pretty consistant no matter how we play, but when Campo wins the ball, Nolan gets forward & jay jay's tricks come off, it's usually a good day for us. Still nice though to have a final without huge slagging off on each side :p |

I'm glad to see that it's two... uh... teams that don't usually do good that's up for the finals, even if it's only Carling Cup.
I'm guessing it'll come down to who's having a better day, Okocha or Juninho/Zenden/Mendieta. |

Mint game, fantastic result. Our defence was superb and Schwarzer redeemed himself after letting the clanger in. Absolute disbelief after the first two goals went in, was unbelievable start. The celebrating is still goin on here!
