| I have a question that's kinda dumb but I'm new to hardware. I plan on getting a nordlead 3 which is 4 part multitimbral. My soundcard has 2 ins and 2 outs. The 2 outs will be used to connect my monitors while the 2 ins will be used to connect the nord. Now since the nord is 4 part multitimbral will i need to connect the synth to 8 ins or will i be able to record the 4 midi parts to my pc with the nord connected to just 2 ins of my soundcard. if anyone knows can u clear this up. thanks |

| hey cheggy |
You've confused the hell out of me.
You connect the nord's audio out to the computer's audio in. If you have 2 audio ins on your soundcard, then that it left and right stereo.
If you can make 4 sounds at once on the nord and you only have 2 inputs on your sound card, then when you record, you just record each track individually so you can get them all on seperate channels. |
