Completely untrue. All aspects car's performance can be comprehensively broken down into numbers. HP/Torque might not mean anything by their self but when coupled with gearing and weight you can get a pretty ing good idea of a car's straight line performance.

None of the specs matter. In terms of overall performance, what matters is how fast performance cars can lap a roadcourse/test track. THis takes into account acceleration, throttle response, handling characteristics, as well as braking

Just in case you kiddos don't know Mercedes-Benz is now built by chrysler. So have fun when you leave the parking lot and the whole car begins to fall apart :stongue: .

Well if you wamn to talk about aftermarket, Dinan is respectable for BMW highly respectable. RennTech and Kleeman as well for Mercedes, Barabus is always a step ahead in development and tuning.

BMW still a top developer in the terms of sports cars, but Mercedes just took it over with the Luxury and Sports combo, CL65 AMG, S65 AMG and the SL 65 AMG. the SLR is also amazing. BMW isnt doing that level of production, unless you count BMW Owned Rolls Royce, Phantom.

huh are you stupid? Benz bought Chrysler... but last I checked Chrysler doesn't build Benz... if it would happen one day, it would be the other way around.

The car's still a Mercedes, just the parent company has changed it's name. It's quality hasn't been diminished.

Bimmers still rule the race track, though.
