Marché is a Mövenpick... I assume you're talking about one of the other ones but which one?
Anyway I voted for Mandarin but I'd hit Jack Astor's too. Probably should have made this a check box poll, eh? Ah well :)
I say we have a separate desert thing, and make it at Demetri. :p |

Marche is NOT Movenpick... they are owen by the same company yes, but they are two different restaurants.
The Movenpick on Yorkville ave is the one i'm referring to, and is a traditional sit down style resturant. Nothing like the Marche that is in the BCE building.
edit: i'm gonna be so bloated after mandarin and have to go clubbing after.... will have to rollover and take a nap first! Then an hour later i'll be hungry again.. ;) |

Marche/movenpick will probably be too expensive. I certainly don't go out to that sort of restaurant very often.

marche used to be called 'movenpick marche' but there are movinpick restauranst that are not marche's. Marche's def have amazing desserts, in fact I usually only go there for dessert, but i don't exactly think the place is as pricey as ppl say it is. if you order a pizza (it's for one person) that's around 10 bucks depending on what type of pizza.
to clarify for those who haven't been, it's not a buffet. you do walk around looking at stuff and picking what you want, but they give you a card and you get stanps for what you order, so you are paying for what you get. I personaly have boycotted all buffets. for the reasons that (1) the quality is usually (2) it breeds gluttony and overeating (and yeah..my ass isn't going to get any slimmer whosing down on as many chicken balls as i can stuff in my mouth). |

We said MANDARIN and votes are final!
Buffets kick ass, you could stuff down salad if you wanted, or deserts -- whatever tickles your fancy.
You don't have to settle on chicken balls :rolleyes:
although they're so... perfect... I... Want... Mandarin NOW!
