So uhh... why hasn't anyone started a thread for this one yet???
I guess I'll have to then. The VIP room was really kickin that night. Deepgroove represented well as usual. I was fluttering back 'n' forth between there and the main room. Heard Matt Coleridge's set and he keeps it solid as well. When I went back to the VIP room, Richard Raiban was on deck --- OH MAN... dude you really rocked the house! (esp. when you dropped that mix of Intergalactic -- Pretty sweet!). I was very impressed! (the only other thing I heard of yours was the set you posted a while ago and it was pretty sick as well). I look forward to hearing you spin again!
After hearing Richard's set I went to the main room (Sorry I didn't get to see the others -- Korhan Kinaki, Kosmic & DJ Fuzion -- I'll have to catch you guys next time) for some Layo & Bushwacka. It started off a little typical -- nice house beats -- but then they kicked it up a notch and let the night just fly. I was trainspotting their set (I don't know who was on deck -- Layo or Matthew 'Bushwacka') but mannn... was he ever tearing up the mixer (in a good way). I've never seen so much interaction before with it -- always mixing something over top of the beat pumped out on the floor, messin' with the LPFs and EQ's and did he ever make it 'sing'!! I was floored. So needless to say, Layo & Bushwacka came through for the night! I'll go see them again in a heartbeat!
.. Apart from the great music, there was equally good company. It was great to finally meet some TA's that I haven't talked to yet like Endlesswave and Infinity High. Oh, and I can't forget Mucopus (the lurker who pokes her head in once in a while). Shouts to Mike (Schryer) and Jenna Rae (Too bad you left early -- hope Boa was worth it :) ), Charmscars ( ... almost post? ;) :( ) and Matt Vagrant, Lipstick and Skeletor, Tamara and Kat, LKD, and of course my friday crew Enraptured (also, it's too bad you left early -- missed a great set), GQStyles, LadyJ and Pixiechick.
I'll hopefully get to meet some more TA's as time progresses (Baby steps... baaaaby steps)
See you all next time! (Probably this Friday for Coleridge and Tremblay -- yahhh)

| over all i had a pretty swell time, the front room was pumping, it was hard to escape, especially when Raiban spun intergalactic, me and max and a handfull of other ta's were bustin moves all over the place to that one! i didnt get to see a whole lot of layo and bush because i left with schryer and jenna, ( i hadnt slept the night before becuse of the stupid bitches that live above me, long story) and thank you very much for the ride mike and jenna, very kind of you. its also too bad tara and matt had to leave early but, i know how that goes. good to see everyone and dance ( im going to try to list, but my memory sucks) max, greg, julia, tamara, erika,john, mike, jenna, kamran, catherine, will, and i know i am forgetting a couple.damn i tried. anyway, i am sure i will see everyone soon as per usual. xo |

the djs in both rooms were TIIGHT..
respect to everyone who was there.
i had a blast in the vip room.. but after a lot of ppl left and i went down to the main room, the stuff bushwacka was laying down... SOO THICK AND GRIMEY... ah man. Brynne u missed out!! :tongue2
next time, next time ;)

Yes, a good night... too bad I had to cut out a little early... I'm getting too old for this. My energy level was VERY low... I had to FORCE myself out of bed and into my clothes to even get there... it was close!
Awesome seeing everyone tho. Very nice meeting Kamran and bumping into all the usual familiar faces! Most of the Notorious Hot Tub Krew... :)
BRYNNE! I can't believe you forgot me... :D It was nice dancing with you. As for those I didn't get a chance to meet, next time I'm sure!
I'm not so sure about dancing in the foyer, tho. System should address that I think... it's a weird vibe... I mean dancing in front of the coat check? Anyone else think that's odd? Still, the sound in the front-room (COAT-room) was better than the main room, IMHO...

i'm sorry james,:eek: , i knew i was forgetting someone, you can punch me next time you see me. i agree with you about dancing in the front room,, greg and i were saying it fely like we were dancing in the kitchen,,, i mean the lights look nice and its starting to look better,, but yeah dancing in the kitchen/foyer. sorrry again james. maybe you should drink some coffee before you go out?

Heh, I'm just kidding around... it's no problem! :D That was not a usual night for me. Usually I'm MUCH more energetic... ask around! :) I was very drained for some reason... also I had to get up early on Saturday. Next time out, I'll outlast you I bet! I won't let you forget me again! :happy2:
