MrS praseodymium Yes, you can most definitely use your HDTV as a computer monitor. I recently puchased an HDTV set myself and am in the process of trying to get it working with a HTPC. Unfortunately, for me, it hasn't been as simple as plugging DVI into the TV and having my PC screen apprear on the TV. The resolutions and refresh rates of your TV are different then that of a computer. You may have to make some adjustments to your drivers with a program called Powerstrip.
