My First experience with XTC

| so heres the deal. i went to a rave Sat. night and split a pill with a friend. It was my first experience, i've always wanted to try X and have had the opportunities, but no times had felt as right as this. What i took, was advised from a friend of mine to be good, although he hadn't had it himself( keep in mind, the friend who had "heard" it was good was not the friend i was splitting it with) and yes i know, VERY ignorant to buy a pill at a rave, but let me procede. so my friend and i split it.. $25 a pill. i was so excited, great music, good vibes, having a blast.. anxiously awaiting the results.. an hour goes by, i feel nothing... others are asking me if i feel anything and I say "no." The friend I split it with wasn't either. Turns out , even 5 hours later both he and i felt nothing. it was a bad pill. The other friend who had said he heard it was "good" had taken a different pill, and turns out, he got jipped as well, no results. Thats my experience with X... and i will NEVER be taken advantage of with another $25 sugar pill/caffeine/tylenol AGAIN. :whip: and it turns out, i still had the best time. Although the rave cost $13 and we got in for free and ended up using that money to buy the pill, i still find it a COMPLETE WASTE. i'll never attempt X again, i feel raped in a sense, by all drug dealers. and the dealer even had the nerve to say "if it doesnt work, you'll get your money back." HA ! if i ever found that ******, i'd slice his nutsacks in bits, roll them in flour,fry them and make the dumb eat them with horseradish :whip: but, i am taking this experience as a sign... a sign to steer clear of X. its the only drug i've ever been interested in trying and i think the man from above is telling me not to. Thanks for reading my story !!! P.s. i will still be dancing my ass off and having the ultimate time without the mind altering substance :D oh and by the way, it was a Yin Yang. i dont know how helpful that is... cos they probably vary but here its a jip. | Ultimo bummer you got ripped off...you could be right about that being a sign for you not to take it....I took it 16 times and got ed up beyond all recognition....i quit in August of 2002, doing it the very last time at ClubSpace, DJ Tiësto spinning. As for getting ripped off, it's difficult finding a trustworthy drugdealer. I was lucky not to have that problem... |

wow, you mean of the 16 times you've rolled, you've never had a bad pill ??? and why did you quit ?? if you dont mind me asking... |

The closest thing to bad pills were 'weak ones,' or I had built up sucha tolerance that the ones i took weren't enough. And I don't mind ya asking why I quit. I quit for a variety of reasons. 1. Too goddamn expensive. 2. Each one is a FELONY if you get caught 3. Driving around while having them made me very paranoid. 4. they are extremely bad for you, EVEN in moderation. 5. you build a tolerance VERY easily, so you have to buy more and more every time you roll. Umm if there's more reasons, i don't remember. Oh yeah. 6. they DO affect your brain and memory (sometimesi cant remember certain things :eek: ) 7. you looked CRACKED THE OUT when on them and people give you WTF looks and stuff. Dont mistake me for someone that's like, 'drugs are bad, mkay?' I stopped on my own for my own reasons, and whoever wants to do them, let them, it's their life. |

you don't build tolerance to mdma in the same sense that you might build tolerance to thc. The "weaker" effect you get is due to the fact your serotonin supply is pretty much gone. It takes a long time to rebuild your serotonin system to capacity and you can drain it in as little as a single pill. Doesn't help if you're already chemically depressed. |

hey, thanks my potassium noodle for the honest response !! and in reply to #7... lol i'd definately have to agree with you. im sure at times i've been the one giving the "wtf looks" at each party, not that I mean to, its just a natural happening. i have no problems with others doing it either, but when i see ladies and gentlemen getting pulled out by security because they are falling on everyone and running through big crowds in a total state of madness, looking like zombies and drooling a green puss from the left corners of their mouths... i really think that deserves the "wtf look" you know ? and im glad nothing happened because what if i was one of pussed puppies? how embrassing :nervous: im glad to hear of your decision DarkAngel and the best of luck to you !! :happy2: |

Chemically depressed...yep. Thatsa me. :sadgreen: Whatever, I'm doing a lot of things now that have turned the tide for me, and the only drug I do now is Vicodin, and that's in moderation, as well as my booze.
As for the seratonin tolerance thing.....hmmm, I think I heard someone tell me about that but I can't remember. (I you not, these things with your memory! Look at mine! :nervous: ) |

Thanks man...yeah, I've had the 'cracked out' look on my face most of the 16 times I did it...:rolleyes: Some of my friends STILL try to get me to do drugs (xtc, weed) but I refuse every time. Peer pressure no longer works on me, becuz now I just deal them ass-whippings. :whip: ;)
Still, let this be known: I don't regret doing it a few of the times. Especially on 7/26/02. That was the first time I EVER got to see Paul van Dyk live, and I was with one of my best friends and two HOT ass girls, and he was on K and drunk and I gave him one of my pills, and I took 5 that night. 5 is my record. :eek: I got sooo ed up it was beautiful and I had a GREAT time that night. Paul played NU NRG - Supersonic, For An Angel, Misja Helsloot - First Second (Original) (I think the Ralphie B remix SUCKX :whip: ) I've had quite the few great times on xtc, but now, that's been replaced with my V, my alcohol and of course, my music. :) |

| Sorry to hear that dude but at least it was only a weak pill that didn't do anything to you and not a bad pill that could have killed you. I haven't done X but thats what scares me the most about it, the fact that there have been times where people have died because they thought they were taking X but were taking something else. |
