Help a metal head find the trance he wants!!!

Yes, I am a metal head. Through and through. I love melodic, symphonic, progressive, black and death metal, and I would be nowhere without it; there is no other music that comes close to giving me the feelings this does. Bands like Opeth, Dream Theater, Sonata Arctica, Sigur Ros, Dimmu Borgir, Edguy, Symphony X, etc etc.
At the same time, I am not an elitist wank. Metal is my thing, but I can happily listen to, purely on fun or background music merits, punk, rock, etc etc.
Recently I have heard a few trance tracks I loved. Only one I can put a name to is Kontakt's "show me a sign". Maybe you guys are more underground and regard this as commercial wank, however I love it because of the female vocals and the dark, minor-key sound of it all.
Im just wondering if people can suggest trance music along these lines, not necessarily with vocals?

EDIT: HA, and dare I say it, Britney Spears "me against the music". After you have repeatedly hit me over the head, hopefully you kinda get the idea of the stuff I am after :p. |

just so you know mate, a lot of people on these forums don't like this song, because it is "too commercial" or "cheese", but i think you might like it if you are new to trance
