I believe that means it has wireless LAN capability. What do i need to put into my PC downstairs to allow my mummy to access our cable internet in her room upstairs? I've been told i need a Wireless Network card of some sort. But some people have been saying i need a wireless transmitter or something? ADvice will be appreciated! :) DigiNut I believe that the Centrino model has built-in wireless capability, which means you do NOT need a wireless network card. What you definitely do need is a wireless network to connect it to, i.e. a wireless router or a wireless access point (WAP). If you're not using it for the internet, or if you already have a router, or if you have a spare IP address from your ISP, then one of these (or a similar product) is fine.
