I'm using fruity and was wondering if anyone could advise a gud piano vst'i to purchase/download?
Tried a couple of the free ones availanle, but they all suck.
Any advise at all would be wicked.

If Fruity can use SoundFronts there are some good piano ones around.
I know in Reason I can load a SounFront into the sampler and play it from there. |

Steinberg's "The Grand," sounds about the closest to a piano as I think you'll get. It's basically a piano sampler. It'll eat your computer though. |

The grand is by far the best VSTi for piano. All it is is just a few sample cd's with a dedicated gui. The only thing that sucks about it is that it will take up about 3 gigs of space on your hd. But sound wise nothing can compare.

Here's a demo of what The Grand can do (or more accurately, what I can do with The Grand). It's a quick Chopin piece...and don't laugh at my playing, it's been a while since I've played this one. :D
