wat did i tell u guys? Schumi leapfrogs Kimi in the first stint! Schumi is just plain brilliant! Love him or hate him, he's just brilliant!
Trance Nutter
Brilliant, yes, but being chased down by an incredibly fast McLaren - that thing is flying, what the bloody heck did they do in the revision, paint a Ferrari black?

And that, ladies & gentlemen, is the race.
And what a race. Pity about the Trulli incident, both for Trulli and Reubens. :(
What a crash tho, my god! And then he steps out like nothing happened. Amazing!
Congrats to Schumi & Ferrari on another awesome win!

And Webber, holding off Alonsa and Massa for eighth place.

Jaguar, who are ninth in the constructors (yes, even Jordan are above them), beat one BAR, one Renault, one Sauber, and one Williams - good effort

that was quite a crash indeed

i always knew it was going to be Michael... from the moment Kimi got stuck in traffic right after his first pit stop, his race was lost. good to see McLaren back on top though. hopefully things will be the same in Germany in two weeks time.

Definetly agree, it's true what Martin Brundle was saying about Ferrari; it's not just a fast car with a fast driver, they make sure they never really get stuck in traffic. The pit-stops are planned with such foresight (and executed so well) that Michael always has the space to go flat out when he needs it.

Ferrari have the complete package and McLaren are going to have to do a lot more than just make a good car if they're going to compete.

Very good race though, a lot of fights going on all the way down the field, it's always exciting to see that. I always wonder why people think you can't see good racing unless the cars in question are fighting for first place.

One of the more exciting races this season, good to see everyone go at it esp McLaren putting up a fight with ferrari and the lower teams Sauber and Jaguar making an effort to get to the high spots. Although it was Kimi's race imo, it was brilliant to see the young gun giving schuey a run for his money (bit rusty on a few laps). This race shows how good F1 can be if everyone puts 100% dedication. Because to me it looks like some drivers are there for money (Ralf Schu, Trulli:rolleyes:) Anyway, great race wish to see more like this in rest of season looking forward heaps now! ;)

Schumacher pole for Hockenheim tonight, but then a surprise - Montoya second!

The revised McLarens are doing fantastically, fourth and fifth, outqualifying both Renaults.

You know how dominant Schumacher is when the Formula 1 website says he has won in Germany ONLY twice!

Pizzonia has replaced Gene in the second Williams, one of the more curious moves in F1 recently, imo Pizzonia is terrible, Gene is much better
DJGolf
Gene did nothing for them. Ralph was in pit today so can he drive next time?

entertaining GP today, lots of overtaking.. shame for Raikkonen, he was going great until the rear wing failure. driver of the day has to be Jenson Button though. he came from nowhere on the grid and a difficult first stint to second place :eyes:
