Parents snap up DIY drug tests
A company in Hull is offering do-it-yourself drug testing kits which are being snapped up by parents from all over the country. But many believe the tests could do more harm than good and that children should be trusted to tell the truth about whether they take drugs or not. Richard Bilton reports.

my parents know i take drugs. i just think its stupid coz it will cause more arguments with those that have parents who are anti-drug media twisted people. |

:haha: i read that all wrong, i thought they meant that parents were picking up trials of drugs to test themselves at home. rather than testing to see if their kids were on drugs.
i think i've taken too many and now need sum sleep,
on one side i dont think it is a good idea. If there is a serious abuse then the relationship with the kid/parents/legal guardian should be good/honest enough to address it. However in a lot of cases this is not apparent, then i suppose it is up to the parents to do as they see fit with their child. Then again i dont think that some parents should of had children, and they dont know what to do. or some kids are wild children and cannot be controlled no matter what the parenting, maybe its the kids they hang around with or the music they listen too. maybe society has made them paranoid and they are just scared, and unsure. or suffering depression. or the progression of medical sience making different manufactured drugs redily avaliable to the puplic. then again industrualisztion and mass production, cause wide spread avaliablity. blame modernization no no evolution, lets re evolve into out primordial soup being. What was the question, oh there wasn't one!!
pah to it all, enjoy the shades of grey. |
