Free...only thing that comes to mind is buzz machines

Oh don't mean to rain on your proverbial parade, but if you're getting cheesy, unprofessional sounds then it might not be the tools you're using.

Dance Ejay 1/2 cheesy is their middle name.

magix ultimate dance music maker......well I never realy got to grips with that.
The Keeper
I'll second Buzz.

A few tips though, set it to run in compatibility mode for Windows NT, download the big pack, keep an eye on CPU usage, close all other programs, run the fix kit every so often, and do not use the program when you are in a bad mood.

few other things i use on the side, a MIDI sequencer www.anvilstudio.com, and HammerHead rhythm station.

Can you make good trance riffs with buzz?

James Holden made Horizons almost entirely in Buzz...I know for a fact that he used no hardware, other than his computer.

sweet dude. I was wondering if someone could tell me how to get songs from my ps2 (music 3000) onto my pc in perfect quality.
Tranc3
Connect the PS2's audio outputs into your computer's audio inputs, and if the audio card you're using doesn't suck ass, and the connections are good, and the sampling rate is good, then you should get a perfect/near perfect transfer.

Just start recording on the computer and play the song from your PS2.
