| i thought it was VERY interesting news. Will it make the front page tomorrow? I was watching FOX news when they had their conference, but they cut the conference short to talk about some drunk driver who called 911 because "people" were chasing and following him. Ends up the "people" were police |

I consider near-solid proof that other planets like our own (covered in water) either once existed or do exist much more worthwile and exciting news than the daily obituaries of US soldiers in Iraq or Haiti. I'd imagine evidence of life will be discovered soon, too. This is a very exciting time in the history of humans, yet we're all too stupid and pre-occupied to notice. |

it was actually 149 iraqis, er, whatever they called them, pilgrams, that died. Only one solider that did die got mentioned.
and that haiti think is pretty much resolved, those rebels are scared of the 1,000 troops that landed there.
but I am defintely with ya on the huge science findings. Although great scientific findings never get good coverage. |

i concure, all these kids at school argued with me as to the relevance of goign to space, i sat in shock at that, its never going to be relevant until we start to do it, the space program it self was not thought to be relevant at all and now we have all of this technology created for and in space, theres no telling were we would be without the space program |

i reckon there is a good chance that we are not alone in the universe.
i mean if you think about it, the first planet we have visited has signs of previous water, imagine how many other planets the other infinite galaxies hold. Surely there is another star the same age of our sun and a planet more or less the same distance away as the earth is from the sun.
Not unbelievable at all. |

Reminds me of in Family Guy when Peter is teaching Chris about his Irish roots, and they visit the museum with the film on what Ireland was like before the discovery of Alcohol  |
