Which mixer of these??

Sorry for the hundred similar thread about which mixer...
I searched and I read many old posts about the mixers I want, but I really need personal answers with positive/negative points on the following mixers for take the best decision:

- Behringer VMX 300 or VMX 200
I see only one difference between these two; one has 3 channels and the other 2. Do I really need 3 channels?? Because I got a pair of MK5 and I think with 2 channels I've got enough. Any more differences a part of the additional channel??

- Gemini PS 626
Reading old posts seems TA's hate this company.

- Vestax PCV-002
Only 2 channels and + or - same price as VMX 300.

- If anyone knows more good mixers around 250€... let me know. Atm I can't afford for a Pioneer DJM 500 or 600 but is in my head to buy it in a future.

Thank you I really apreciate your answers. When I was debating which decks I should buy your opinions were very usefuls for me, finally I picked Technics!

Hmmm...to be honest, If I had any of those, I would load my shotgun with buckshot, grab a case of Bud, and have a little fun out in the woods blasting the hell out of them...but thats just me.:stongue: Save up and buy the Pioneer, you will be glad you did.

i'm gonna go ahead and agree w/ dj mooshine on this one. i'd probably go w/ the vmx300 since it has the extra channel, you might want it if you get a cd deck or a third TT, it keeps your options open.

Say NO to Behringer..

i actually used the ps 626i and i must say that FOR THE MONEY I PAYED FOR IT, its a pretty decent mixer. It can do all the basic stuff and thats it. (got mine for 130 euros)

hhhmmmmm... I'm still confused, some ppl say yes to behringer some ppl say rotundly NO to this brand. As I said before atm I can't buy a Pioneer and I want start to spin as soon as better. Atm with two channels I have sufficient cos' then if I want add a cd deck or a 3rd TT then I will buy a better mixer like a Pioneer, but right now I can't spend 800 € for a mixer.
So tell me your views about these mixers and be more specific plz. I mean if you don't like Behringer say me why.

Cheers,
djse
a lot of people who are using behringer says that it's sound quality is very bad..

if all you want is a cheapie mixer, find someone else.. who has bought a halfway decent cheapie mixer and already upgraded. bet ya they'll let thier old dusty box go cheeeeeeeeep.

i just let me homeboy have my ole stanton box for half what I paid, so he could learn.

That is such a stupid reply... come on, argumentations WHY we need to say NO to behringer???

Why say YES to behringer:
- They have an excellent price/quality ratio
- Behringer has an excellent support if you have problems
- I bought the VMX300, originally only for 2 channels, but eventually I was happy I bought the VMX300 cuz after a year i added a CD player.
- In it's price range, the VMX300 is the most qualitative mixer.
-You can do everything with it. It has Send/receive outputs, recorder outputs, Booth outputs, amplifier outputs.
-There is absolutely NO problem with the headroom for the headphone.
-you save money you can spend on vinyl. It's not cool at all to have an excellent mixer without having any vinyl isn't it?

-> the sound quality argument:
The s/n ratio is 85Db. That's the same as the pioneer. Okay, the numbers aren't always what reality shows. Do you have an amplifier of 1000W in your room? Well, then you won't really hear the difference between a pioneer and a behringer.

And please, stop saying behringer sucks without saying WHY. People start doing it here too much!

Berhinger mixers suck because: They have the worst cheapest faders that have more snap crackle and pops than a bowl of Rice Crispies; The sound quality sounds like your playing your tables underwater; That right there should be enough to persuade anyone with half a brain to not buy such ty gear...Shall I go on with more faults???
Tiger777
Do you have the experiance I have with behringer mixers? I'm using one for almost a year now. There is nothing wrong with the fader quality, I have no leakage AT ALL. If your faders leak, that's a problem you need to use the warranty for. Pops? I've never had one.

The problem with behringer-haters is that they have alot of money to spend. Yeah, sure, get the DJM600 and find a small 1000$ to spend on a mixer. There is absolutely no doubt that there is a huge difference in quality between behringer and pioneer mixers.

For me, a VMX300 fitted perfect. You have a middleclass mixer that does everything perfectly well for a fair price. Don't expect miracles from this mixer. And please, take off your stupid "I only use SL1200s and DJM" glasses. For beginning DJ's, behringer has good perfectly good solutions like the VMX300.

Maybe try configuring the QRS sound effect properly...

Franky, I don't even care what you think of behringer. I'm just annoyed with the short-sightedness that is being shown here. Use the mixers properly before giving negative advice about it.
