I am pretty new to these message boards, I don't know if a thread has already gone and past for this fu*king great CD from Steve Lawler, it probably has but anyhow, I just wanted peoples thoughts on it, I kept passing it up at the store, but I just got a hair up my butt and decided to buy it yesterday, and WHAT A CD... OMG, tribal rhythms MAD... one of the best CD's I've bought this year... what do you all think?

here's a tracklist for those of you that want it... I am thinking about building a webpage totally devoted to tracklists... CD's, Live Mixes, all of it, I know that M's is already around, but he seems to have been slacking lately.... anyhow... here is the tracklisting for the totally sweet Steve Lawler: Dark Drums vol. 2 ...

01. Intro - Lawler's Drums/Aaron Carl - Dance Naked (Club 69 Acapella)
02. The Frost Project - The Chief Warning (DJ Myka & Addy Mix)
03. Borgo Manero - The Darwins Theory (Manero's White Lady Mix)
04. Jair - Shake
05. Frankie Carbone - Everybody (Luca Ricci's Deep Tribal Dub)
06. Sharam J & Nick K - Shaka
07. Java & Jan - You Drive Me Crazy
08. Menace - Sound Of The Floor
09. Jaimy & Kenny D - The Gathering - Praying (Acapella)
10. UBQ - When I Fall In Love 2001
11. Peter Bailey - U Need It
12. Robert Owens - I'll Be Your Friend (Leon Roberts Edit)/Foremost Poets - Moonraker (Acapella)

I know that this is TrancEaddict... and I am a total trancehead, but I also love other forms of dancemusic, and in a way, this could be classified Tribal Trance (if there is such a style)... Lawler just has a style to him that is undescribable... much like Picotto or Mario Piu... I've seen him live, and he plays a very wide range of music, and comes up fantastic... he's gonna be huge... just wait and see....
