Best trance scenes in the US?

Inspired by Mr Slick...
So if ya don't like the trance scene in NYC, then where in the US (so Amsterdam don't count :p) would you want to be?
What events are there in those cities? What are the pros and cons?

Also, what are the best trance events in a single club (in any US city), week in and week out?

An excellent thread, wallflower.

Sad to say, I've been more or less confined to NYC for the last year, so I haven't had the chance to travel as much as I'd like.

I look forward to hearing about other events, especially those on the West Coast - from what I hear, they know how to throw down, and they consistently bring in big numbers.

I wonder what makes them so successful out there - granted their environment is totally different when compared to Gotham; perhaps some of their promotional methods can be applied to our ailing scene?

Firsthand accounts would be especially interesting to hear.

Cheers,
Slick

New York City without a doubt.
And although some might argue the scene sucks, or the scene is dead.. NYC offers opportunities unlike any other city in the US, In my opinion. :)

NYC is fine, this 'issue' will be fixed in the future. ;)

I'd definitely want to be in Holland, UK would be my second choice but Holland is most appealing.:toothless

U guys in NYC have much more luck than us in D.C. You got mad variety upthere.

Here in D.C. we are kinda of hurt since Club Glow hgave a great experince. Right now we got Cubik @ Nations so things are alright.
But the scene is getting bigger here and more woemn are connecting to it :) . But yeah when Glows open then there will be a reason to come to D.C. like beofre but this time its goning to be Uber experince :gsmile:

Prior to the last year, where have you traveled to?
What trance events did you attend out there? What are your observations of the trance scenes (or club scene in general) there? How were they better (or worse) than that of NYC?
Mr_Slick
Wallflower - very persistent questioning. I'd retype, but I've answered most of these items in the other thread, since your line of interrogation there was similar.

Peace,
Slick
