Giggs, Beardsley, Gascoigne? Where are they?
If Diouf was Brazilian or Italian there's no way he'd make that list. Obviously Pele doesn't want to be accused of favouring the 'big' countries so he's thrown in a few players like Diouf to balance it out a bit. The result is a crap and worthless list. There's no way Diouf deserves to be in there. |

No matter what kind of list you make, there will be those who deserve it and are not on it.
Maybe if he made top 3, which would include Pele, Maradona and Cruyff than noone would complain. Otherwise there are bound to be complaints.
I do think, however, this list is a pretty close approximation. |
