Exporting MIDI from a Reason .rps file

I have an old song of mine from a year or so ago from my old computer, and it's saved as a .rps, which means no import/export or anything but an untouched sound file. I wanted to re-do the synth using a VST, but, since I can't export MIDI through Reason, it would take quite a while to reconstruct elsewhere. Just woundering if there was a way to ReWire possiably or some other trick to export MIDI from a .rps.
Thanks,

Hey ya m8,
Seems you've got a fookin problem..
My guess would be to just reinstall reason, and then export it as a MIDI. 8:disbelief  ;)
Or you could mail someone this reason file, and he/she should be able to export it from Reason as a MIDI.

I thought he made pretty clear how you can't export midi from a .rps file. |

Your right m8, but i think he meant that he has the rsn file, but hasn't got reason installed anymore, and therefore he isn't able to export it.
Either way, gimme the file, i'll transform it into a midi for ya! ;) |

I don't have the .rsn file any more, and from what I know, you cannot export a MIDI file directly from the Reason MIDI export. I still have Reason installed too.
The problem is getting MIDI from a .rps file, because they are published files, meaning that you cannot inport, export, modify, or save the file. |

So that's what you meant...
Well it's time consuming, but the only option still left i know of is that you just have to rebuild the track from the ground up, all over again......
Oh no wait! Maybe i've got another option for ya!
I recall there is some kind of program, thats able to transform Wav files direclty to MIDI..
Therefore you have to export the Reason file as WAv.
You'll have to download a program from downloads.com that's caled something like Wav to Midi..
I know this program exists. This way you'll be able to get the midi out of the reason file m8! |
