I was originally looking for white cosplayers (it's usually funnier and often plain weird), but then I found that webpage (from the first post) with that massive amount of pictures of japanese cosplaying freaks so I couldn't resist. Besides, if you look hard enough, you can understand the essence of this magnificient culture of cute little girls and giant robots, being part of the good legacy the honourable American people (or all of us Westerns, as a whole) left to post-war Japan, and that has been taken one step beyond.
This is the beauty of cultural exchange (no matter how it happened) not gone wrong. In fact, this is so deep that I wonder whether this whole post made any sense at all. |
