epic fluffy euro trance???

why has everything/everyone decided to go down the progressive alley??? Tiesto, Armin (Boundries of Imagination was way more fluffier than Basic Instinct), Ferry they've all handed in their eurotrance cards and picked up the "progressive" one....

I mean I like them both.. it just that progressive doesn't make me go off(most - I think Tranceport 4 was the last CD that made want to bust out dancing outside). I rarely get the naturalE dose when I listen to progressive... while epic fluffy trance gets me to that level with no problem at all... One need only look/hear Tiesto's "Magik 5" to realize what I am talking about... it's soo fluffy.... but soooooo soooooooooo goood.. Even "Forbidden Paradise 9" is awesome from beginning to end...

any ideas as to why this shift of ideology...

although tiesto has taken more of a progressive take he hasnt gone completely over to that side of things... e.g. at gatecrasher he plays sometimes darker more proggy stuff... but others (depending on the over-all feel of the night) he plays big -off epic trance... either way he is ing god

i havent seen armin yet... he must be one of the only ones left... but i didnt think he had taken to progressive either.. but i think a lot of DJs atm are shifting (not all the way though) over to the progside cuz its a bit new.. theres more to progressive than uplifting/epic because upliting/epic has been doing exactly the same thing for 3 years now... progressive has a lot more new ideas.

I am hopefully going to creamfields, and the line up is amazing. I will listen out to all the top djs, and see what they r playing. Tiesto is still really good though
