A little track I made this morning...

Well, I woke up today with this melody in my brain...I've never heard it before. I got on the computer and started messing around and this came up. Doesn't sound as good as it was in my brain but nothing ever does, hehe. Feedback is welcome; I've only been doing this since August 2002 but got better at it in late 2003 when I had more time after work and started buying hardware and weened off Fruity Loops. Any comments or suggestions are welcome because they're going to help me improve and be more satisfied with my results. And sorry if I don't make sense, English is my second language. :gsmile:

| reminds me of traffic a bit. the kick is rather tho mate, sorry to say. melody is quite nice, a bit weird it goes from sounding minor into major tho. fill it out a bit, add some fx and mid percs, not just hi-hats :) |

im guessing he means the tiesto tune traffic
i agree about the kick mate a dif drum sample will help that though
considering u made this just this morn from a tune in ur head thats well good :D well done mate keep at it that will be a stormer when finished :D |

Yeah reminded me of Traffic a bit, although it was just the first few notes of the start.
Nice feeling overall, flesh this out so we can see the finished version. |

| not too fond of that kick. The lead is cool, i really like the chord progression. Yeah, thicken up that sound. Maybe layer a lower octave in there or something. Could use some mid range percussion. Nice overall. |

| I'm with you...the kick sounds awful...and it wasn't my intention. I was checking out the project file and found something weird: the drum sound in there is different. It has a thick, punchy sound, so I don't know what happened. Also, there was percussion and fill in hi hats and other goodies...I think I muted those parts. I'll arrange it again and see how it sounds. ;) |
