They found funding.

When the Pill Testing program first started, it enjoyed a large and expansive funding base in which to allow it to handle all pill testing that was required, as well as trend tracking, and other related projects. However, when the primary funder Bob Wallace, founder of ProMind, and an extremely generous benefactor and friend of Dancesafe, passed away, problems cropped up. At first we had enough to keep going with testing, but as our search continued to find new long term funding sources, the American economy dipped into its lowest point of recession in many years. Simply enough, there was no money out there to give, or there were other causes deemed more vitally important. After attempting to slow the tide of money rushing away to the program, we asked for $20 co-payments, but that was only a means to slow down the inevitable. The program was shut down until further notice.
One day we received an email from someone, short and simple; it said "I just read the news item on the front page about pill testing being suspended. This is a real shame. Can you tell me more about what kind of funding you need? I may be able to help."
After much talking and discussion, a decision was made.
The Pill Testing Program would begin again!
And who is this mysterious benefactor that has made this possible?
DanceSafe would like to humbly and greatly thank Mr. Adam Wiggins for his extremely generous commitment to the health and safety of all those who participate in and observe our pill testing program. He has made it possible to continue our program to the benefit of many. May many more lives be saved by its continuance.

We now have enough funding to continue the pill testing program. While of course we always continue to look for additional funding to enable us to track trends and continue other programs, all requests for information should be directed to emails located on the "Contact" page. |

| That is real generous for the guy to donate money to bring back ecstacydata.org, it is real useful on seeing the exact contents of each pill and the weight, and could very well save lives. Bravo :crazy: |
