In your opinion, what do you believe to be DJ Tiesto's quintessential work; own creation or remix?
Difficult choice to single just one out, but I've always been partial to...

Good DMB song turned into a great one by Tiesto's vibe. |

Hardly, if you listen to the original mix of Re-Form and then Suburban Train you'll see the difference is immense. Re-Form is a mediocre track which is far from Ronald van Gelderen's best, and would certainly not be talked about now had Tiesto not created Suburban Train. I agree that credit is due to RvG for the original concept, because in fact ST is almost a remix of Re-Form, but to say that it was "mostly Kid Vicious" is sheer fallacy.
And for the record, Junkie XL has stated that he had rather little input in the production of Obsession. |
