actually, it showed maybe once or twice EVER (for the past 3 years)...

| It shows up for me every now and then...I think maybe when I clear my cache or something, but then it dissapears after a day or so. Same thing happens with any other sites that have those icons. They never stick around. |

It always shows up for me. Then again, I don't use IE, so that probably explains it. |

Are you talking about the guy at the top of the page or the icon in the address? Because I don't think the icon shows up in browsers other than IE or I could be mistaken. ;) |

The icon of course. If the guy isn't showing up, then you've got serious problems, as a browser that can't display images has serious issues. :p
I'm using Mozilla Firefox, and the icon always shows up, without fail. I'll take a screen shot if you like. |
