Trance / Music related project

Okay if the title read Computer Science Final Year Project I doubt you would have clicked on it =P
Anyway, I'm looking for ideas on a trance or music based project to do as my final year project.
I've never heard of one before, and I don't have any idea what to do. I'm supposed to submit a proposal to my lecturer in 2 weeks and I'm stumped!
So.. any ideas from people in this line who have actually attempted or know of projects such as these.. would be greatly appreciated.

p/s okay even if its not music related,... i'm desperate here.. i'll take any ideas. And btw my programming sucks, so preferably something with minimal programming. |

Database, easy to use, that checks automatically for info/pics whatever on discogs or amazons or ...
Just add some features to it. |
