For those who went, which events did you end up going to each day and night?
On average, how much money did you spend each day? (I ask this because things at WMC can easily and quickly get quite expensive)
From where were the people that you met while there?
What were the most notable talent discoveries that you made i.e. Dj's (or producers) you had no idea about before, but totally pwned (or at least impressed) you ?
Finally, what do you think was the tune of the conference ?

I was playing at the main stage where there are thousands of my fans cheering and praising me...(That was in my dream)

From Miami:
PVD was indeed captivating on Friday night. I blacked out from tequilla about 4 tracks in but ended up dancing with some friendly guys from New York. What a night! Ultra was mind-blowing as always and I am already counting down the days till next year. What a freaking weekend!

Here's what went down for me

Friday:
Having my flight to Miami delayed by 4 hours
PVD @ Space

Saturday:
ULTRA
A very brief stop at an afterparty at Sax On The Beach

Sunday: (mostly brief stops at the daytime parties listed)
-Rest, Relax & Recover BBQ @ Fairwinds Cafee
-Dance Local Think Global @ Groovepad (Creek Hotel) - James Zabiela was supposed to be on when I was there, but didn't go on during that time. Dirty Gringos (of NYC) held the fort well though.
-Roam/Stereo @ Townhouse Hotel rooftop
I tried going to the Eventvibe.com pool party at the Clevelander, but it too packed and there was a line to get in
I then went to the Astor Hotel for the "Wild Butt Sex" party, but it turned out to be cancelled

and of course, Tiesto @ Space

I also did try going to the TA dinner, but thanks to all that partying, and the hella time I had trying to get a cab, I came too late. I did see the group pic being taken, and met vtec there. I didn't see anyone I knew - were there any NYTA's who went there, and either left before I arrived or I just didn't see?

Monday: (brief stops again)
-Laid @ Leslie Hotel
-Proton Radio @ Aqua
-RESCUE/HOUSEHOLD/TRIBAL SOULS/P:M SESSIONS DAY EVENT @ Privilege
-Remix Hotel @ Ritz Plaza - really cool equipment displays inside!
-West Coast Collective @ El Cardozo hotel

Damage was probably $100-150 per day, mostly at, or for going to (and from) Downtown (for Space or ULTRA).

I met more ppl last year, but this year at ULTRA, I met a couple from Venezuela. And stuck with me at Newark Airport was someone from Belgium who is a student at Lehigh Univ.

Me & Lisa made it to all of these

Friday MARCH 5

Edgar V @ Space - Awesome Prog Set By Edgar!
Paul Van Dyk @ Space - One of The Best PVD Sets I ever Heard!

Saturday MARCH 6

Johan Gielen @ Ultra - Caught Like 20 Min, Average Set, with bad sound
James Holden @ Ultra - Good Set by Holden, I’ve heard better by him
Junkie XL @ Ultra - Impressive Show. His set was average
Tiesto @ Ultra - Not as Good as Last Year, lost my camera memory stick
Sasha @ Ultra - Caught about 20 minutes, sounded boring
Chemical Brothers @ Ultra - Awesome Visuals, Music sounded great with the lasers
Paul Van Dyk @ Ultra - Had a good spot to stand and went nuts. Awesome Hard Set!

Sunday MARCH 7

Dj Ton TB aka Three Drives @ Space - Really Really Good!! I Loved It!!
Dj Tiesto @ Space - Best Set I’ve Ever Heard! 4 Hours Of Non-Stop Intense Trance!!
Sander K @ Space - Our Resting place to avoid getting Crushed to death during Tiesto

Monday MARCH 8

Perry O'Neil @ Mansion - Caught the last 10 Min, really mad, wanted to see more
Harry Lemon aka Lemon 8 @ Mansion - Really impressive Prog Set
Crystal Method @ Mansion - Nice Visuals. Music was Electronica Rock. Not my taste
Markus Schulz @ Mansion - The God Of Progressive. Started will all New tracks!
Armin Van Buuren @ Mansion - Impressed, Armin usually sucks live. This Time He didn’t!!
M.I.K.E. @ Mansion - Great Set by MIKE, not boring like the ASOT sets.

Space looked the same as last year. There sound system use to be the best in the USA, and now it got even better. PVD @ Space was crowed but not unbearable. Tiesto @ Space was badly overcrowded, a lot more people than PVD @ Exit.
Ultra was confusing because most of the events were an hour behind what they scheduled. It didn’t seem as crowed as last year and the music wasn’t as good. The main stage sound was messed up until the end. Tiesto’s first track went off in the middle, and they gave that radio station guy a microphone which got really annoying. I dropped my camera in the middle of the main arena and lost my memory stick with all my Ultra pics. We found it later during Chem Brothers but the insides are all smashed up. I don’t think it can be fixed.
Mansion is a really nice club. Not a lot of space there, but surprisingly there was not a lot of people there either. There sound was above average, some spots in the club sounded bad though. Mansion’s main stage had really cool lasers kinda like the ones at Central Park.
My laptop got some blue screen of death after transferring all my pictures. It won’t work at all now. Hopefully I can get that fixed.
