TA Dinner Review!!! (pg. 2)

Damn, i didn't even SEE this thread....
Damon bro, you and VTec organized a KILLER ass dinner, and it was an extreme pleasure to have attended it. Mad props to ya both. The people were great and the food was PWNAGE. I can't believe I met Suzy Solar, man! :eek: Ever since coming to FLTA, I've met quite a couple of famous DJs...I'm like, WTF.....OWNAGE! But anyway, was an extreme pleasure rapping with Suzy and Brian, and I posted this before in the other TA dinner thread, but I wanna say it again; Thank you Suzy and Brian for giving me the CD, it in' OWNS...You mix TOO SWEET, Suzy and putting in Darren Tate and Jono Grant - Nocturnal Creatures, OMFG!!! :gsmile:
Now comes the attention whore part of my post. :p Yea, I was the first one there after Damon....yes, it was me....I'm DA MAN....:haha: Ok enough whoring. :p
But, seriously, the dinner was OWNAGE. It was awesome seeing Markus and Heather again, and meeting Perry O'Neil as well. The only regret I have is that I wasn't able to meet EVERYONE....I mean, it was so many people!! :eyes:
In closing...the people who sold out or cancelled out....

Again, was a memorable event....I also wanna thank everyone who showed up; without you this wouldn't have been possible. Kudos to TA. |

Dinner was so awesome, I wish there was time to have met everyone. Great to finally meet the man Markus Schulz ("we shop at the same store" :haha: ), as well as Perry O'Neil, the Armada crew (Jon O'Bir, Darren Singleton, and Robert Nickson "holy " :stongue: ) great chatting with you guys, Filo & Peri - bummer on getting cancelled but it was great that you came out, I want Under the Sun vinyl already! Everyone else I think I knew already or just didn't get a chance... til next time!

Many thanks to Damon and Brian for organizing such a great dinner at Porcao! I was so impressed with the food and the attention at Porcao...it's a shame there are no churrascarias in DC! Shocking! I lost count of the churrasco and all the other beef I wolfed down...great food for a long night of partying! Last but not least, I couldn't have been happier with the caipirinha! Nice and strong...just the way a good caipirinha should be!
I definitely enjoyed the company of the people at my table (Brian, Damon, Sammy, Bling, Dark Angel, EKS, Lil' B, Suzy Solar)...and it was great catching up with most of the TAs at dinner!
Porcao is definitely a must for next year! :D

I regret we couldn't stick around for the group photo- 4 TA's & a non-TA had to jet abruptly (had to see the Scumfrog at the Shmaeless party that evening). Unlucky for me, the hotel's manager pulled the plug on Scumfrog's set 20-25 mins into it.
DJScottKeith- how was the Positiva party? Did u get to see Scumfrog? I was supposed to get guest list for this event, but I was told the Shameless party later on would have the better set. I wish I had insisted on the Positiva party... |
