So on Sunday I said -it-all and went shopping for some new technology. The end results:
-A brand new 17 inch iMAC with 1.25 GHz Horsepower, 512 MB of memory, 80 Gig Hard Drive and a superdrive (meaning I can burn DvDs). It comes loaded with GarageBand and iTunes. And my best friend works at the JPMorganChase web department and works with the Adobe Pro Suite...it's a total of $1000 for all the programs in the suite. He'll be giving me that for free :)
and
-An Epson Stylus CX5400 Multifunctional Printer with a built in copier/scanner, photoquality printing, and DURAbrite Inks.
Dr. Spock: I'm now up to date with the rest of the world. It feel gooood. WEEL GOOOOOOOD :D... |

That's a pretty sick buy, homeboy.
Keep up the good work.
I happen to be on a Dual 1 GHz G4 tower myself (280 GB total space, 1.25 GB RAM).
I use iTunes like there's no tomorrow. |

Ahhh, so iTunes is good? I tried searhing a few artists when I used it at the MAC store and hardly came up with anything. I mean yeah they have the major artists (DT, PvD, Digweed) but I searched Holden and nothing...

I try to buy from the iTunes Music Store as much as possible, but you'll find next to nothing in the area of underground material. They're only allowed to release songs that are approved by affiliated record labels. The selection has gotten better since day one, but at the moment you'll probably only find big artists with U.S. releases such as:
DJs:
Armin van Buuren
Tiesto (or Tiësto as it's spelled in Dutch)
Ferry Corsten
Junkie XL
Artists:
4 Strings
BT
Crystal Method
Delerium
They how do you say lack in the European imports, but once they open up deals with overseas labels I think that'll change.
I use iTunes as my main music player. For making mix audio CDs and such it can't be beat. PM me if you ever need tips.
If you want a good laugh, check out Crystal Method's celebrity playlist on the Music Store. |
