Eh, it's a milestone but it still lies at the beginning of the road rather than the end. As I understand it, the present constitution is temporary, was only decided upon by 25 people and will be changed once a proper representative assembly takes place. Either way, I don't think it's going to make a great deal of difference in the short-mid term.

true, however you have to admit that by drafting this temp constitution it will lay down the groudwork for the perminent one. i doubt they'll rewrite the whole thing over again... probably just add, remove or modify a few sentences. |
