| out of curiosity, what do you think about this mixer? i couldnt buy it if i wanted to 'cause i'm broke but i've seen it online and it looks nice. just wondering what its like. |

| well put it this way....this is the 3rd one i have owned.....i have had pioneer 3000,allen heath xone 62,urei 1620,rane 2106 and i keep going back to this mixer......first off is has knobs....if u have ever played on knobs u know how easy u can bring in the trax....it comes up so gradually...which i liked when play tribal/prog stuff..then the xcrossfader is adjustable on the this with a dial...u can make it fit to your mixing style....aux send and returns....its a great mixer for all different mixing style....i am going to try the allen heath xone 92 now....the only reason i didn't like the 62 was no knobs and the crossfader sucked.....now that have added knobs and made the crossfader adjustable like the vestax...i have to check it out!!!!! i also like the filters on each channel .....i have an external filter that i use for the 46 ...but i would have to buy 4 to use separately on each channel.....it makes sense to check out the 92 first!!over all i really have nothing bad to say about the 46.....its pretty tight....i do think the allen heath sounds better than it also...but i run it through an eq anyways... |
