Alright, I don't want to start a flame war between vinyl enthusiasts, and digital DJ's... please leave the war of words of this thread.

Has anyone heard how much these will retail for? Anyone heard any feedback?

I've read a little about them, and I've seen some hype. What does everyone think?

I do not know what the retail will be on these but expect to re-mortgage or start a grow-op to finance one.

As for feedback, I have heard early demo runs by some of the big name DJ's found many glitches and problems with this unit so it remains to be seen how much they can shore up the faults before release. They may have to push the launch back if the unit is as problemed as I was told by industry friends

I was blown away with the number of options, and the fact that they're the closest thing I've seen to mimicking vinyl tables.

It really shows how far digital media is comming along for Dj'ing. Vinyl will never die, but digital media has come so far.

Have you guys seen the Denon tables? (DNS5000's)

Also the Numark CDX is coming out with a full vinyl platter....generally some great new DJ tools and technology coming out but the proof is in real time use....I look forward to trying all these new toys :)

http://www.djmart.com is where I got mine. I'm sure there is other sites out there as well. I find DJmart to be very proffesional with their sales. This is the 4th major purchase from them and so far no problems at all.

I've heard about there being bad reviews from DJs who played on these once they hit the market. (keep in mind they have also used the Pioneer ones as well)

those are really hype.. i expect firmware upgrades to improve some of the software preloaded on this baby. maybe support for 256k encoded mp3s. If not, i would have to wait till they have the MKII model which i'm sure should consider that upgrade.... it's not so much engineering but rather marketing. lets see what the final release have. Paul, give us a shout once u get ur pair studio tested.
