wutsup everyone...~!!! my friends and i are goin to nyc dis weekend..we usually go to exit..but..dis time we wanna try sumthing different. sum ppl say limelight is good..sum say sound factory is good..which club should we go to??? isn't limelight kind of spooky inside??? help me out!!! :conf: |

| It matters what type of music your into. This Friday night Scot Project is at Limelight and Kim Collins & Sean Cusick are at Sound Factory. I'll be at Scot Project. He plays hard house and trance similar to the stuff you would hear at Exit. Limelight use to be a church and I think Sound Factory was just a warehouse. |

| Sorry for the Sf lovers but, i think SF sucks. Goto Limelight or Vinyl(Good luck trying to find Vinyl out of towners). I don't know how u can manage to stand Exit but, i suppose if u can deal with that u can goto either. |

| UGh I have a confession to make...this weekend my cousin dragged me to Sound Factory!! and oh my lord it was the worst three hours of my life!! no joke! First off I hadn't been to SF in well over a year. So this is the first time I was able to see all the changes they made to the actual physical club. And it looked horrible. Made the place look so small. Then don't even get me started on the musik. JP was spinning tunes with bpm's that were equal to the tunes Danny Tenaglia is spinning. And I like stuff DT spins but JP was spinning like krakhead synth tunes with low bmps. And it was the underwear party so there was this one guy dancing around in like a jock strap...and chiks wearing underwear. And I'm suprised that most of the peeps actually got into the clubs...with their egos being so big and all. By 3 am I had my fill of SF and I told my cousin I wanted to leave. I vowed to myself that I would rip my ears off if I ever stepped foot in that place again. Ugh and being there made me miss PvD even more. And it didn't help that I had missed going to Boston to see him. Waaaahhhh...lol Ok I'm done venting! :stongue: |

| A few years ago, when I used to hit up SF, it was only good around 7 or 8am til close... why would you bother to go early??? It was always bad earlier... not that's its good anymore... |

| JP would always spin the good stuff later in the nite...err I guess earlier in the morning...I always used to get to SF around 12 or 1 and leave around 9:30 - 10. Back around 1999 and 2000. I went early this time and left early bc I wasn't going to party "afterhours" b/c I have a 7 month old daughter who wakes up at around 6 am. So I have to be home when she wakes up and be somewhat functional i.e. had some sleep. My mother watches her so I can go out for what you would consider a short nite once a month. And my mother was kind enough to let me go out all nite for PvD at Twilo. She also agreed to watch my daughter for the weekend of Creamfields and eventhough it got cxl'ed she is still kind enough to watch my daughter for the weekend b/c she thinks I deserve a break. Being a single parent is tough. Anyhow I got off track and its b/c it's because I have major responsibilities to tend to that I didn't do afterhours. |

Roxy is 18th st btw 10th & 11th Ave.
Limelight is 20st btwn 5th & 6th ave. I will be there. :D |
