The best place in the club district is "Naz's Shawarma" on John street between Richmond and Adelaide.

And the best Shawarma in Toronto is Sara's on Bloor (near Brunswick).

There is a place on Dundas between Bay & Bloor that is pretty good too.

(rj knows his shawarma)

its an arabic food

like a pita only different

u knwo the thin pita (known as kuboos in arabic) that u find in supermarkets, yea that is split into 2 so u have 2 circles. then gor the more common chicken shawarma, they put garlic sauce (not like the one u get at pizza pizza..thsi is fresh and good), pickled turnips, parsley, gerkins and of course chicken.

over here they sell beef shawarma as teh other option only cos mutton(lamb meat) is expensive.

humuus doesnt really go on a shawarma but is had as a dip with pita so when u see them putting humuus, remember that aint really part of it.

i also like to have tahini put on my shawarma which is a sauce made from sesame seeds...really good..

Rev. Paroxyzm
whoever that ditz that said Euro and Freestyle is better is pretty damn clueless.
Euro and Freestyle are not better. Everything that has been brought to those styles, has been used/developed in other genre's first.

I used to listen to Euro and Freestyle when i was a young teen.
Emjay, LaBouche, and a bunch of other acts that most kids that are into Euro have never heard of, were part of my music taste development, and i still hold those songs... somewhat dear.
However, my taste became more wide ranging and euro was soon left in the dust, in order to satiate my taste for bass.

Radio Announcer or DJ, either way - there's no excuse for that kind of ignorance. In each case, a person should be informed of what he's playing, or to not pass judgement on the music he's being paid to play.

p.s. Hotdogs are made of s, snouts and lips... do you really want to be eating that ?
