Kicking my own ass for missing an opportunity

Picture this. I'm driving out of a parking lot, and the small parking lot street i'm on meets a larger parking lot street like a T. So i'm standing there at the stop sign and have either left or right. On the street in front is a white Infinity Q45 and it's backed up by traffic from both sides. So we're both stuck at that same position, and i i'm right to the left of the driver.
Here's the good part. The driver is a really cute girl. She turns to her left, so now she's facing me. I had a weird day, so for some reason, i just made a funny face at her and grinned. She liked it and laughed, then turned away. Then turned back to me twice more. Starting to get the picture? I'm not the kinda guy to miss out on an opportunity like that but that was a first in a situation like that and i hesitated.
Alright, excuses aside, i pussied out. I should have just opened the door and walked over to her car for the hell of it, but didn't because the stakes were too high. Or at least they seemed to be at the time. In addition to the possibility of getting shot down, i'd also get a bunch of pissed off drivers on my back. But really, that was just stupid. It's not like any of that woulda killed me!
Haven't missed an opportunity in a long time and had forgotten how bad it feels. So this is my reminder. If i EVER pull stupid like that again and hesitate, i give you all my word that i will publically admit that i'm a worthless and pay the webmaster of this site to sticky that thread for an entire month. Mark my words. The stakes just went up. Oh and i'm sending this to everyone i know.
P.S. I guess part of the reason this is bugging me so much is because i could have sworn i've seen her somewhere before. And i can't remember when, where or who she is for the life or me! And just when it seems like i'm about to remember, my mind goes blank again. Ever get that? It's crazy. |

Na, you should have just pulled up a jumbo sized tub of vaseline and held it up and made the same funny face you made the first time.

| Hahah! I'd marry the woman who would find that as funny as i do :D Unfortunately i don't exactly drive around with a glove compartment full of vaseline, rubbers, cuffs and toys. |

HAHAHAHA!!!!! LOL, would be funny if some of it was dripping over the sides, like in the episode from Kill Bill when Buck was trying to help the guy out. :D |

btw dude,
I know how you may be feeling after that incident--
I don't think it was all that feasible for you to get out and approach her.. so in a way, leaving it at what did happen is perfect on its own YET, if you happen to see her again....... Shall I say more!? ;) |
