hehe me too...and i hate when i go into a store or something here in miami and the ppl who work there don't speak any english! i was lost today in downtown miami and i went into a store and started asking the dude where i was and he just looked at me..i was like, "u don't speak english do yoU?" it just really bothers me that ppl can come to america and own a ing business without speaking a word of english.... |

You know, I agree with just about EVERY pet peeve mentioned (except the sock one, I see nothing wrong with 'em, except that they're not black, I only wear black socks) so I will just mention a couple of my pet peeves!
1. Ungratefulness (for everything and anything/anyone)
2. Taking things for granted (or people for granted)
3. Stress. I wish people would worry less about things! It kills me to see people so stressed!

such as.. i was absent from skool monday and tuesday. i got my SAT prep assignment and it was a math one. i had done two days before, and so turned it in as make-up work. this assignment happened to be the one where instead of bubbling in the answer, on the back there was a part to write in your answer and then bubble in the number, decimal or fraction (/).
i got my paper back with a 44%. i went up and asked why this was. she said i hadnt put down any answers. i proceeded to show her they were on the back in the answer boxes. she didnt give in. she then told me i should have written my answers next to the question and that unless i showed my work, she wouldnt change my grade. funny thing is, next to every problem, i wrote down everything i did, BUT the answer, b/c it was on the back.
irrationally, after argueing and with some back-up from fellow students, she still only gave me a 60% which is a D-. pissed me off. |
