Please Review My new song...! I hope I am getting better for Gods sake!!!

Hello Everybody,
I just finished producing my new Song. All reviews are GREATLY appreciated... Without your reviews, I can't get better.. Most my improvements I really owe them to tranceaddict.. Honestly.

Intro was a bit too low in the frequency spectrum, it was a relief when the percs came in.
The synth that starts in at 0:09 sounds like dry cheddar. The synthetic strings need more upper presence...and when they come in and take the forefront, their energy is nowhere near the energy of the percussive elements. Same thing with the chant-synth, although the synth itself sounds nice.
4-note upwards melody tastes like mozzarella.
Piano sounds synthetic, but in a bad way.
By around 2:30 the instrumental voices have caught up in energy with the percussive voices, which is good.
The constant fx in the background is a nice touch, but just doesn't work in this.
I think overall this has more of a video-game feel than anything else, as it's a good background track but doesn't really go anywhere. |

I agree with Tranc3. Though there are some elements i liked, those Choirs/Vocals sound dirty, very nice. It sounds like some keys are misplaced, that reso-kind-bass doesnt do it for me either. Maybe this is just not my taste ;).

I like the choir in it. And the piano really kills me. please remove.
You have some cool ideas (bassline and percussion are cool) but have another look at the levels.. there's to much bass in it and the lead has no power.
4:00 not that piano again....!
4:40 choir.. my ears can take this much better.

well i didn't mind the piano too much, sounds a little old-school i guess - but that bassline, dude! that's one hell of a crazy line. There something about it I quite like it too, in fact. Just listening to it again, i think the rhythm works well against the kick drum.
What i especially like about this track are the choir harmonies - I think they work really well. Nice and full, and they don't stomp on the other parts of the track. |
