Tranc3
First track:

Intro is at too low of an amplitude...not even sure why it's there. High-end percussive elements need more high-end. Sounds as if you've run most/all of your synths through a low-pass filter, which is generally not a good idea, as they start to "fight" each other and muddy up the mix.

Breakdown is, well...weak. Both in amplitude and in direction, it's as if it was put in there just to satisfy the typical structure of trance. Long breakdowns can be good, but this is too long for its' own good. Once again, your lead synth sounds as if it's been run through a LP filter. Come to think of it, the entire track sounds that way.

Leading synth almost completely drowns out the percs...it's only when you filter out the higher, more powerful frequencies that the percs can really be heard again.

Really liking the melody that comes in at 5:28.

One more thing - despite the fact that it sounds as if it's gone through a LP filter, bass is still pretty weak. Oh and the clappish element sounds more like your kick, but pitched up a few steps and with the low end filtered out. Doesn't work particularly well.

Second track: Same engineering deal as the first track.

Notes sound off at 2:15, but start working later. Not sure what's up with that.

Point-counterpoint works well with the melodies starting at 3:15.

Note sounds mis-placed at 5:10...just goes too high. If you're going for the relief style of melody writing, place the high note after the melody has looped itself a few times, not near the beginning.

Second track has more potential than the first. It's got a nice feel, but needs to overcome some problems first.
