I have everything working fine in cubase... my midi control setup.. vsti's working fine.. everything is speedy and fast...but..
I can't seem to get any damn decent beats like I did with fruityloops. The drum editor just doesnt do it for me... I load sampples into halion and set them into the drum editor and place each beat or whatever in order... but it seems so dull and just boring.. the step sequencer in fruity was so useful and I dono.. is there anyother method's to use... because as far as melody its all cool and easy to setup with key editor... but the percussion is just a pain in the ass.... for this reason im thinking of going back to fruity just because im more intact with it as far as beats.... dono?... any adice? |

| Make beats in fruity, export to cubase |

| Use the step sequencer instead of the key editor. In your midi track, go to inserts and select it there. You're right though, drums in cubase suck. I use reason to d drums and then export them over. |

| FL works as a VST so you can use FL in cubase. Latest version also supports ReWire... |
