i like doboy's mixing, the track selection, even though they mayy in your opinions be inconsistant. i still like most of the tracks he plays. a lot of the stuff ive heard, i could have never found myself. and actually, 2 years ago, doboy was on of my first trance introductions. when i started listening to di.fm. di.fm was instrumental in my trance development fo sho.
really, doboy, was my first favorite dj, before i found out, that he mixes only mp3's and stuff. i was still very much newbie, and i actually thought he MADE the music. not just mixed it. i was noobish though, still am in a way. very big way still. but i know a lot more....;) |

may not be professional, but the trance is good.:happy2:
anybody bought any of his mixes, what do u think?? |
thats funny because most mix cds that come out are done on computer. either way, i wouldnt pay 1 penny for those, i would just download them for free |

His taste in music is inconsistent? By that you mean too varied right? How can someone's taste be too varied? Lol...
He's a great DJ who had to go the commercial route to make money--Most do. Actually I like his "taste" in music. |

To make money? It's not like he's a professional DJ, he sells mp3 mixes ffs, lol. |
i wouldnt even call him a dj, he doesnt deserve the title of dj mixing mp3s like that. thats some gay |

exactly, artists who know how to properly select tracks instead of good and cheese at the same time. however, cheese and good stuff at the same time, i would say is good for beginning people who listen to trance that heard about it off the cheese playing on the radio. then they hear the doboy mix with dj sammy heaven and then some other quality songs on there, so like he said

he mixes it on computer then sells it
u can do that ur bloody self, grab a atomix or traktor and fling a few mp3s in.
or u could just download them and save 200 bucks!
but anyway ROFL! dj doboy
personally i dont like him very much, he brings shame to the trance scene, his tracklisting is basically anything with a 4/4 beat. his automix beatmatching doesnt impress me much. i can achieve those skills in a atomix.
but thats just me though, some may worship him as a god, some may think hes just a wanker. |
