Please, help me identify a tune from Pete Tong's ES. I do not have mp3 of originally performed track but I'm a musician and I reconstructed fragment of the tune as I remembered the bassline and the main melody so please listen to attached mp3 ('whatisthis.mp3') or DL from here http://rhodes.no-ip.org/whatisthis.mp3 The tune had very similiar (almost the same!) bassline to "De Nuit - All That Mattered" but was more let's say deep, trancy?, didn't contain guitars but contained female vocals (not too much as I remember, it was rather instrumental tune). I heard it about 25th of July 2003 in essential selection but it WASN'T live for 98% sure, because a) I have listened recently almost every tune from 25th July tracklisting and haven't found the tune I'm looking for, b) it wasn't in GB. I remember also that when the tune finished Pete Tong said something like "DJ Grim Mix" but I don't know if I heard right (it could be "tim", "gino" as well - just speculating ;)). and if it reffered to that tune... Please, help me, if you can, I know it's hard job, but maybe there are some people who know and remember well most of the essential selections?
P.S. I heard most mixes of "All That Mattered" and haven't found my match so it's out. |
