Ultra Needs a new format

Ok.. I loved Ultra.. I have been to the last 3. But I feel like that it is outgrowing itself, and just getting a new venue will not help. I wish they would make it a 2 day event, with less stages and give the dj's more time. 1 Main Trance stage with all the big names getting an hour and a half for 2 days.. 11-1am Sat and Sun. The promoters should love it.. more money on $5 waters, more tickets at the door, 2 day passes, etc etc...plus with less stages there would be less equipment overhead. I dont like haveing to jump around stages looking for all the trance dj's...(corsten, johan, Marco V etc.) and where the heck was armin? in Cleveland OH?? come on he was the only missing DJ. Anyone Agree??

When I read the subject of your thread I thought this guy must be kidding but after reading your post I'll have to say I think your right! Its fun but they really could get away with a longer show, think about it, and have 2 days and you as a participant could buy tickets to one or both days. ! I think you’re on to something, not to say those guys have not thought about it already. |

| - I think they need an agressive new, cooler venue. Less Stages, and longer Ultra, best way to really aprecciate and enjoy it. But I know this format wont work, becaouse, either less people will assist, or will leave after a couple of hours, to either go to the afterparties, WMC parties, or whatever the reason.. |

haha hooknnife, i was thinking the same thing as you. "here we go". but after reading your suggestion i think it's a GREAT idea. more time for fun.

In mexico...acapulco to be exact....there's this festival called ACAFEST. It's a 3 day festival with tons of stages and a bunch of top dj's.......ive never been there but some pals of mine from PR flew to Acapulco for this event and said it was teh .
I definitely think a longer festival should be in the works up here in zee states. |

Not being negative, I'm being realistic. Trust me, I would be the first one there to support it if it took place. But considering the current situation concerning "laws", it won't happen. |
