right cut the crap, some has ed my comp, this is what is going on, those 2 bull msn virus's are floating around and causing , they send themselves and clog messages and play and screw everything, inbed in windows register etc, called choke and something about gorge bush, i have deleted this ****** 1235436535 times but now 2day my comp started typing itself, im like what the ? basically it type, just rubbish like f f g h y s a a g h and a letter, a random letter every 5 seconds or a letter everytime u type so u cant really type, i virus checked with the latest norton and all that, nothing, i closed winamp and it stopped, confused me but oh well, rebooted 255 times and then sat in silence for ages and no prob, i wanted to listen to music again so i played an mp3, bang, it all started again random letters typing itself etc, so i unstalled winamp thinking that msn thing had ed it as winamp can revice shoutcasts = download info, so then i sat again in silence, no probs, played an mp3 thro media player and bang, here we go again! so i think as im on cable and perm connected and have the same ip, when ever i listen to music, whoever/it sees me online and plays, please help with this as i have no ing idea what the hell is going on or what do to, im not thick at comps, but this is new to me! please help!!! :whip:

| ok ok prob solved! little help from mizzz pointed me in the direction of http://www.symantec.com which ive found the exact prob which i have, even screen shots and all and im doing what it says and finding all the files its talking about, so i should be ok! thanks tho plastike |

NP Coup, get yer system sorted 1st.
make back ups now in case u do have to reformat your hard drive.
Tip, find the original file and delete that.
if its in an email delete the mail.
sounds to me that its replicating itself or relaunching itself with every reboot u do.
check the start up folder to see if its got an exe file hiding there that will run every time u start your PC.
empty your recycle bin too.(Code Red II likes to hide in the recycle bin)

Get a FIREWALL , you are on cable now yeah Coup so a firewall is a must cos u got a static IP
download zonealarm from www.zonelabs.com and install it
it will stop ppl hacking u and sending u and will also stop this virus sending out info about u
its free btw and works I use Zonealarm :)
